STS Testing Registration

Students are required to take the STS High School Placement Test at Bishop McGuinness.  This test, along with recommendations from previous teachers, test data such as the Explore and ITBS, and most importantly face to face discussions concerning the individual interests and needs of the student will help create a schedule for their first year in high school that is challenging and individualized.  Incoming freshman packets will be sent in January to inform parents of registration night where schedule discussions and other important information will be provided.

“It is important that a school provide a solid academic foundation and a reasonable number of extracurricular activities for its students. Bishop McGuinness does so. Academics and activities are presented in a way that reinforces the morals and values that we present to our children at home.”
