Dear Prayer Partners,
February is history and March has come flying in. Of course, we can't quite make up our mind if we are in spring or winter. That's kind of typical of Oklahoma. It can't make up its mind. That, however, is not the case for our Sunday readings. We are told in no uncertain terms that we "must repent or we will perish." Judging others as worse than us is no help! We need to examine ourselves to determine what needs to change in our lives. The tree that did not bear fruit for three years and is given another chance, tells us that God will give us many chances, but there will come the day of reckoning! May we hear God's word, take it to heart, and use the remaining weeks of Lent to effect the repentance that is needed. May we also be grateful for God's mercy!
