Why Give?
Heritage! Those of us who have been part of the Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School family understand the responsibility we have to protect the school’s rich tradition of excellence for future generations. Since opening its doors in 1950, the McGuinness community has grown to include over 8,500 graduates and countless other extended family members who have had a profound affect on the mission of our school. This historic milestone is no individual achievement. It is from the collection of the Irish community of students, faculty, staff, clergy, alumni, parents, grandparents, friends, fans and donors. Their faith and generosity have enabled McGuinness to develop into the school it is today and is the reason we can look towards the future with hope.
Once fully funded by the parish and religious orders that served our school, today the cost to educate a student exceeds $8,500 annually. Tuition dollars allow us to balance our yearly operating budget, but do not fund the growing capital needs of a 21st century high school. There is so much more we can accomplish with you and your financial support.
