The Rother Media Center is open Monday - Friday from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.
The library at Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School is named in honor of Rev. Stanley F. Rother. Father Rother who was ordained to the priesthood on May 25, 1963. Fr. Rother began his missionary work in Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala, in June, 1968 where he worked until he was martyred in July 1981. Fr. Located just past the school entrance on the right of the Commons, the Rother Media Center is the heart of Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School. The library supports and encourages reading in all area and provides the basis for research throughout the curriculum. The Rother Media Center offers many forms of information to meet the diverse learning styles of students.
- Our collection contains over 9,000 items including newspapers and magazines, print, audio and eBooks, CD's DVD's, and videos.
- The library houses a 33-computer lab which is available to students during the school day, along with 5 other computers throughout the library.
- Many online databases are available to students and faculty including the following: EBSCOHost magazine search, Blooms' Literary Reference Center, Wilson Biographies, and ABC-Clio's Social Studies series.
