Senior Mitchell Burns, Junior Allison Hopfer, and Sophomore Evan Clear qualified for the 2014 National Forensic League National Speech & Debate Championship after competing this weekend in the West Oklahoma District Tournament held at The University of Oklahoma in Norman.

Freshman Registration for the 2014-2015 school year will be February 24th, 25th, and March 3rd from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Parents and students will be able to visit several different tables, meet teachers and coaches, purchase BMCHS gear and choose their classes.

Junior students and their parents are required to attend the College Planning Conference either Thursday, January 30th or Monday, February 3rd starting at 6:30 p.m. in the commons.
Parents and students are invited to attend our annual curriculum night. Topics will include freshman course expectations, registration, testing, summer requirements, and athletics.
Join us this Thursday 1/9/14, Friday 1/10/14, and Saturday 1/11/14 at our own McCarthy Gymnasium for the 54th edition of the McGuinness Classic Basketball Tournament sponsored by Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores.
Located at 700 W Sheridan Ave., students and families will receive a 10% discount before the dance.
Held June 14 - 29, 2014, the program is taught by nationally renowned artists and offers instruction in acting, creative writing, ballet, modern dance, orchestra, chorus, drawing/painting, photography, and film/video.
Dance bids will be sold starting Thursday, Dec. 5, $12 during both lunches. Dance will be held at the Hart Building located at 726 W. Sheridan from 8:30pm to 11 pm. The Hart Building has a designated parking lot.
Matthew was selected to sing in the All-OCDA chorus.
Campus Ministry is taking orders for cinnamon rolls from the Tower Cafe in Okarche to help support the students who will travel to Santisimo Sacramento in Piura, Peru over Spring Break. Orders must be received by Dec. 2

Seniors: If your unweighted GPA is between a 3.25 and a 3.79 (on a 4.0 point scale) and you will NOT be a recipient of the Oklahoma Promise Tuition grant, you may be chosen to receive a $1500 scholarship, one senior from McGuinness will receive this scholarship. See Mrs. Nedbalek for details. Applications due Friday.
Students may pre-register for our required 8th grade placement test by Wednesday, November 13th at 3:00 p.m. Contact Ms. Amy Hanson, Freshman Counselor if you have any questions.
The BMCHS 8th grade placement test will be administered November 9th & 16th. Students will not be able to register for the 9th testing date after 3:00 on Wednesday the 6th.
Tony Award Winning 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee will be Wednesday, November 13, 3-5 pm in the Auditorium, See Mrs. Sok for details.
There are a lot of clothing items in the lost and found. Please check to see if any items are yours. All things remaining on Friday, Nov 1 will be donated to charity.
