Kairos
The Kairos Retreat program is for juniors and seniors. Kairos is a Greek word meaning, "In God's time." Kairos is an unforgettable experience that students from Bishop McGuinness and Mount St. Mary's have shared since 1995. It is an opportunity for participants to grow in their faith, meet new friends and have fun in the process. A life-changing event, Kairos helps teens realistically balance their relationship with God and incorporate Him into their everyday life. Many students leave their Kairos Retreat no longer just accepting the faith they inherited from their parents, but claiming their faith as their own. Students say to truly understand Kairos; you really have to experience it for yourself. The Kairos weekend begins on a Thursday and ends on a Sunday afternoon.
