Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School Named a 2025 CAPE Blue Ribbon School
We are proud to announce that Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School has been recognized by the Council for American Private Education (CAPE) as a 2025 CAPE Blue Ribbon School in the Exemplary High-Performing Schools category.
Each year, CAPE recognizes a select group of non-public schools nationwide that demonstrate outstanding academic excellence and commitment to student achievement. This year, 55 private schools across the United States earned the CAPE Blue Ribbon distinction, and we are honored to be among them.
What the CAPE Blue Ribbon Award Represents
The CAPE Blue Ribbon School Award honors schools that exemplify excellence in one of two categories:

Exemplary High-Performing Schools: Schools recognized for the highest levels of academic achievement as measured by state assessments or nationally normed tests.

Exemplary Achievement Gap-Closing Schools: Schools recognized for their success in closing achievement gaps between student subgroups and all students.
Bishop McGuinness was recognized as an Exemplary High-Performing School, reflecting the dedication of our faculty, students, and families in pursuing academic excellence rooted in faith and service.

While this recognition comes from a national organization, it reflects the work happening each day in our classrooms, labs, arts programs, and athletic fields. It honors our teachers’ commitment, our students’ drive, and the enduring support of our parents and alumni community.
