Alumni of the Year
2025 Alumni of the Year: Danny Stith ’74

Each year, Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School honors an alumnus who embodies faith, service, leadership, and community. We are proud to recognize Mr. Danny Stith ’74 as this year’s Alumni of the Year. A graduate of St. Charles Borromeo and Bishop McGuinness, Danny earned his finance degree from Oklahoma State University and went on to found Oklahoma Wealth Management Group, leading the firm for more than four decades. Beyond his professional success, Danny has lived a life of deep faith and generous service, supporting Catholic schools, parishes, and the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City in numerous leadership roles, including President and Board Chairman of the Catholic Foundation. A devoted husband, father, “Papa,” mentor, and former BMCHS softball coach, Danny’s life reflects a quiet strength and unwavering commitment to giving back.
Established in 1999, the Distinguished Alumni of the Year Award has recognized outstanding alumni, and their commitment to the goals and objectives of Bishop McGuinness.
It highlights the importance of what it means to be a person for others through their actions not only in the Irish community, but also in their community and church.
You may nominate as many outstanding alumni as you wish. We just ask that the nominees have served the school, their church and/or community well during their postgraduate time. The Distinguished Alumni Award will be presented in May during graduation. If you have any questions about nominations, please email Brian Smith '05, alumni relations.
