After retiring from 20 years in the United States Air Force, Deacon Grover transitioned into education through the Troops to Teachers program. He came to Bishop McGuinness in 1997 and taught Economics and Business during his first year. After that Deacon Grover served as the Freshman Counselor and Administrative Assistant for seven years while completing a degree in Pastoral Ministry. Deacon Grover then began his role as Theology Department Coodinator and worked as the Campus Minister for three years before returning to the classroom full-time as a theology teacher. Deacon Grover was ordained a Permanent Deacon for the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City in the fall of 2013. His wife Ann also works for the Church; the couple has five children, all of whom have graduated from Bishop McGuinness.
