Diane Drum earned a BA in Political Science from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1991. After returning to Oklahoma with her family, she taught Geometry and Analytic Geometry at Norman High School until 2002 when she left to attend law school at the University of Oklahoma. She practiced primarily in the area of employment defense before returning to her passion which was teaching. She taught for five years at Chickasha High School teaching Honors Geometry, Honors Algebra 2, Honors Trigonometry and AP Calculus. After two years at CHS, she was honored by being elected Teacher of the Year and was chosen by valedictorians for five consecutive years as the teacher who had most significantly impacted his/her educational career. She is excited to be teaching mathematics at Bishop McGuinness, where her mother, uncle, and brother all graduated.
