Freshman Counselor/ Student Services/ BMCHS Ambassadors Advisor
Mrs. O’Hara is the Freshman Counselor and Student Ambassador Sponsor at Bishop McGuinness. She graduated from Cameron University in 1991 with 3 degrees, an A.S. in Liberal Arts, A.A.S. in Criminal Law and a B.S. in Criminal Law. She taught Pre K at Trinity Lutheran for 2 years while raising her four children—Forrest, McCall White, Mary, and Grady—in El Reno, Oklahoma. She then worked as a Youth Shelter Director for 4 years. She was attending school at Southern Nazarene University and graduated with honors in 2003 with a M.A.M.F.T in Family Counseling in Psychology. She has worked as a Mental Health Therapist for 3 years before becoming a School Counselor. She has worked in the public schools as a School Counselor for 10 years until this year. She currently resides in El Reno Oklahoma with her husband and 2 children, Mary and Grady, on a working farm. Mrs. O’Hara has enjoyed her position with Bishop McGuinness this year as Freshman Counselor and Student Ambassador Sponsor.
